Starting the first day

Starting the first day

I'm 100 % Japanese grew up in Japan.  I used to be cabin crew and used to fly around the world.

I came here in Manila/Philippines because I got engaged to a guy who is starting his business here.

Well..having mother who worked till her 60 years old Birthday in Japan,  I couldn't think of staying at home so I got a job in Manila.

Another reason we decided to come here was it's easy to hire nanny in Philippines even if I want to continue to work.  And it's not because it sounds luxury but it's something different from Japan.

In Japan,  it's very hard for woman now a days....a lot of them are willing or needing to work after giving birth to a child but it's so hard to find kindergarten to take care of the baby while working so some of them have no choice but to quit work and stay home.

Even if you can find kindergarten for your baby,  you will need to pick your baby up till 6:30 PM or 7 PM when you have to stay at work till 6 PM and you usually work far from home as the rent in big city where most job are is very high so you live out side the city....

I really respect working mother in Japan.  They are true "super woman".  I hope this will change in soon future.....

Anyway there is also another reason we came here in Philippines.  It's to give our future baby/babies to be raised in the English speaking environment.

Philippines is one of the most nearest English speaking country to Japan so it's easy for us to go back to Japan as well.

I guess I should be able to teach my kids (hopefully coming soon) English but still it's hard if all of their friends is non-English speaker.

Well,  let's see how it turns out...... 😊

I have mirror blog in Japanese so please visit here if you are interested!  Thank you!
